[So the bad thing about settling into camp is that it's given Blue a lot more time to herself to think, something that she doesn't really want to do right now. She doesn't want to think about what happened to her world, to herself and the people she cares about. And every time she starts to relax, she can't seem to get it out of her mind.

That's why she needs a distraction. Anyone and anything will do.]

I really need to burn some energy. Anyone want to go running with me? If I stay cooped up in the cabins any longer I think I'll go crazy. Does that sound good to anyone?

I've been thinking, since a few people have brought it up. If certain traits are passed down from our parents to us, our personalities and skills should at least be clues, right?

So if we pool what we know about the gods from various understandings of mythology, we may be able to figure out what the most common traits are for each god and go from there. After all, I can't imagine that anyone isn't curious...

[She's not sore about not being claimed. Not at all.]

I was also thinking for those of us who are claimed in Cabin 11 it might be best to set up a sort of rotation for who gets the beds and who gets the floor, since people continue to arrive. It isn't good for anyone not used to it to sleep on the floor for very long, and if we're all family we must treat each other hospitably, right?

[Michelle is sitting at a table in Cabin 6, surrounded by books. One large volume is open before her, as well as a map of Camp Half-Blood and several well-made paper cranes. She clasps her hands and looks up with a curious smile and large, thoughtful brown eyes.]

You know, I've been thinking...once you've been claimed by a god, how would you call him or her? "Mama" or "papa", or simply "mother" or "father"?

I think Athena might prefer being addressed as "mother". [A shrug.] But I guess other gods would have their own preferences.
