dontcallmeerky[There's a teenager with purple hair on the pendant, apparently somewhere near the lake - you can see it there in the background. He's trying to avoid the crowded cabin he's apparently supposed to live in.]
If I didn't know better, I'd think this was some sort of elaborate practical joke. But I don't know anyone that dedicated to pranks, and even if I did I doubt they'd have the resources for something on this scale. Even the what's-it-called, the bus, is a little much.
Also, a few minutes ago, an owl flew down to me, dropped a wreathe of what I think might be olive leaves on my head, and left again. I have no idea what that was about, but it seemed like it might be worth mentioning, because that is not normal behavior for owls. Especially not in the midafternoon. [He holds up the wreath in his hand. Yup, that's olive.]
What happened to this place, exactly? All I heard was something about being attacked by monsters. Which would seem silly if we weren't all apparently the children of gods.
I suppose my general question would be "What's going on around here?" Because as far as I can tell my life has decided to stop making sense entirely.
