watch[ after unsuccessfully attempting to negotiate with the centaur (which was probably one of the less surprising occurrences of the day), jun is now standing dejectedly outside of cabin number 11, holding the pendant in his hand with his eyes narrowed at it and wearing a frown that barely conceals his annoyance and his worry. do you know who is really really sick of being told his life has been a lie, repeatedly? this guy. but he's not about to go on about that to, well, anyone who will listen. he drops his frown into something a little less hostile and sighs, holding the pendant closer and wondering if it really does function the way the centaur said.
he really does not want to go in that cabin and the idea of sharing a small space like that with strangers, even for a few minutes, makes his skin crawl. if anything, the pretty young man just looks sad, but anyone who knows him would probably find that much to be standard fare.
and he says, to no one in particular: ]
Am I dreaming again?
[ only to realize the pendant is apparently capturing him. he looks at it, thinking it couldn't be any sillier to expect a response from a necklace of all things, but swallows the logic for just a moment, hoping that someone normal might answer him. ]
Um, I mean... Is all of this true? Because if it's a joke, it's not a very clever one.
