[ The image transmitted is that of Mitsuru, but to those that know her, she definitely looks different. Someone's mom has decided to claim her daughter, not even letting Mitsuru put on her new camp t-shirt before "blessing" her with this getup. Not that she doesn't think this is a nice gesture, but coupled with the shock of being transported from her home world, this is just one bizarre day. The mixture of confusion, sadness, and worry shows plainly on her face. ]
This is all so very strange.
Never in a million years did I imagine something like this-- it's a lot to take in all at once. [ Beginning with the fact that her parents aren't her real parents. Considering her father has shaped so much of what she is today, that new tidbit of information is particularly upsetting. Nothing can change how much she loves him, but it feels as if she's been living a lie her entire life. ]
Furthermore, this... [ She trails off, looking down at the ridiculous dress she's wearing. It's not ridiculous in that she doesn't like it, but she's well aware that she looks silly wearing such a formal gown at what looks like a summer camp. Kind of like showing up to the beach in a tuxedo. ] This is an interesting welcoming gift. Although, it's worrisome that I seem to be stuck looking like this. I fail to see how this is practical in any way.
[ She sighs, closing her eyes. ] I apologize for the negativity. I imagine I'm not the only one having a hard time with this. [ She smiles a little now. ] My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. It's very nice to meet you all. I hope we're able to find some answers soon.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance for anything. I look forward to helping however I can.
[ She sets the necklace down now. ]
Thank you, Iris.
(( Network or action is A-OK by me! Replies will come later tonight... I need groceries. :T ))
