All right. Assuming everything we've been told is true - and I'm not saying I believe that - I've got just one question. How does one get one's supposedly godly parent to get off of his ass and actually tell me who I belong to? Because there are too many idiots in the Hermes cabin, and I'm getting a wee bit annoyed. Which means someone's getting personal with my knife real soon if we can't get this sorted out.

And when are we going to get to do something real? I'm bored here.

If you're actually threatening a bunch of demigods just because you're bored I think you've lost your claim to call anyone an idiot.

Also, I suspect you're tempting fate there - complain too much and it just may turn out you're one of us who's in this cabin for good.

And the cabin wouldn't be that bad if about half of you idiots weren't stinking the place up all the time.

I have encountered people with an attitude like yours before. One of them ended up with his leg broken, trampled by aliens, and dismissed from his post because he tried to stave my friend's head in.

You could try reactions to being annoyed that don't involve stabbing people. We have training grounds, go fight a dummy. You might get some conversation on your level.

As I recall, this conversation started with you threatening to stab someone just because you were bored and stuck in a crowded cabin like everyone else.

Not everyone is stuck here. I'm not blind, there are people in other cabins. I wanted to know how to get out of this one.

I meant in the camp generally. But if you're so insistent, the way to get out of the cabin is to be recognized by your divine parent.

And without knowing who they are beforehand it's hard to say what might make it more likely, before you ask.

So I'd suggest either complaining more, or go fight some of the monsters that supposedly roam the edge of camp.

Just going to say it flat-out: if we're half-brother and half-sister, getting Ares to claim you is going to mean a fight. Challenging him to one is probably not the best idea, because we'll be going to Olympus on the solstice and I already did that when I got claimed. I'm pretty sure that means there's been dibs called somewhere in there. Whether Ares called them or whether I did is anyone's guess, but yeah. Dibs.

So yeah, that's gonna mean finding the fight elsewhere.
