irismessaging | 2nd Shadow/4th Punch [accidental voice]

[There's silence for a few moments on the other end aside from a few rustling sounds, but Ryoji's voice is eventually heard, whispering harshly. He's clearly panicked about something, though without video, what has him so worried remains unknown.]

Minako-chan? Are you there? I know you know Akihiko-sempai well, so d-do you know how to calm him down? I had no idea he could be so rough-

[A deep voice abruptly cuts him off.] C’mon, Ryoji. Quit messing around. After you get it down your throat the first time, you’ll get used to the taste!

[There's the sound of footsteps-not Ryoji's own, based on the way he gasps in surprise and... is he whimpering?-and then more shuffling as Ryoji attempts to end the transmission. He hopes Minako got the message... it was private, right?

Of course, Ryoji doesn't manage to stop recording, and the whole camp can now hear what he and the other person are up to.

Akihiko can be heard sighing.] Hey, don’t look at me like that… I’m not gonna chase you around the whole damn camp, you know.

[He pauses for a moment.] Okay, I got it. Get down on your knees, and open your mouth. You can close your eyes too, if you want. I’ll take care of the rest.

Um... o-okay... just be careful.

[There's some more rustling sounds and footsteps, and then moments later, the rustling sounds quicken as Ryoji moves about. Something is in his mouth, and he's making muffled pleas in amongst his choking. He swallows part of it down, and then makes a breathless plea.]

S-Sempai, please-

H-Hold still, Ryoji… Trust me, you need this… Keep telling yourself that, and don’t spit it out.

[Akihiko's words seem to stop Ryoji's struggling, and he only chokes for a moment before he can be heard swallowing and gasping for air. He coughs a few times, and his voice sounds shaky.]

That tasted awful...

[Akihiko exhales in relief, sounding pleased as he encourages the junior.] You did it. Good job. And don’t worry; you should stop feeling sore in a few hours. Just be sure to take a hot shower when you get back to your cabin.

[It's at this point that Iris finally feels sorry for the traumatized campers listening in and ends the message.]

[Oh, thank God. Hearing that, Akihiko relaxes a little. The accusations of torture and murder get on his nerves after a while, you know?

He doesn’t sound quite as cold when he replies this time.] Yes, they are. We don’t have access to a kitchen, so I couldn’t cook them first. It’s really not that big a deal, actually. I eat them this way myself. Ryoji has a better chance of being hit by a car than dying from eating a raw egg.

[If Akihiko really wanted to kill someone, there are much, much more effective ways to do it. Like electrocution.]

[...Don't give her more ideas, Akihiko. She will more than likely start looking for a car and obtaining her license just to run him over.]

You're used to them though. For someone else, it may be a shock to the system. But, you do sound like you know what you are doing.

[Okay, getting away from her plotting the death of Death, she is kind of curious about something.] There is no kitchen here? What about fire pits? In camp, there's normally somewhere to start a fire.

Yeah… you’re right about that. [Akihiko sighs and muses out loud.] I’ve already been training for years, so I’ve forgotten how it feels to be an amateur. If we were back home, I could get protein supplements that are more suitable for someone at Ryoji’s current level, but…

I’m sure there is, or we wouldn’t be fed on a daily basis. Where? I have no idea.

[He scrunches up his face a little.] I guess we could’ve boil the eggs, but… it’s much easier to just down them raw, than having to go through all of that.

[Hmmm, that does get her thinking; she is going to have to train this body to be stronger isn't she? If Ryoji's going to train, then she needs to catch up. Asking Akihiko for help wouldn't be too bad, and she's confident that she can keep up (or at least try to anyways), and...

If they trained at the same times, it would provide a good opportunity to keep an eye on Mochizuki as well.

But on the flip side, she's not sure if her new stomach can stomach the raw eggs. Aigis won't be able to do much training if she's sick.

Ah well, it's something to consider at the very least.] The gods must have something set up for meals to be prepared. But, would it be possible to ask for the supplements? Or leave to buy some?

[NOT ASKING FOR RYOJI'S SAKE. She just likes to gather information.]

[Feel free to ask him, Aigis! :D Granted, he might die by the time solstice comes, but get everything out of him while he’s still around!]

We’re not allowed to leave the camp. There are monsters wandering around the borders, to make sure we stay in here. [And although Akihiko wants to challenge them, he isn’t stupid enough to try and get himself killed.] Anyway, it’s probably considered more of a luxury than a necessity, so the gods might not be so willing to grant it. I’ve been finding other ways to compensate.

[Oh, how sweet! Aigis is worried about Ryoji~]

[No. There's going to be no dying on her watch B| Everyone's going to live damnit.

Monsters. Honestly and under normal conditions, she'd be all for taking them on. But without their Personas, it might be suicide.]

It would be a luxury in most people's eyes. [Le sigh. At least they have a roof over their heads and food, but even then, what happens if someone comes in with a medical condition?]

No one has challenged these monsters have they?

[Another optimist in the making! Akihiko needs to keep spreading his influence…

Yeah, don’t do it, Aigis. Mitsuru won’t have to execute you for being reckless – the monsters will simply eat you, and nobody wants that!]

Apparently, other people in camp have fought against them before. They can only be killed with certain weapons that aren’t always accessible. You know I’d be all for taking them on, but I don’t wanna put anyone else at risk. [Although, if it turns out he’s slated to die, there’s no need to hold back.]
