[The first shot of Fuuka that Iris transmits is of her in a posture that her friends from home might recognize; eyes closed, head down, with her hand curled around the necklace she'd been given when she arrived, she looks pretty much exactly as she does when she's concentrating within the protective confines of Juno-- except for the jeans and orange shirt (which is doing wonders for her coloration). But it doesn't last long; she opens her eyes and while there's clarity there, there's also a certain anxiety. There's a lot she's confused about-- not the least of which is what this place itself is, even though there's been some explanation to her already. To have been plucked from her home and planted here in New York is a major adjustment, and she's a little off-kilter because of it.
But she's putting on a brave face here, sitting on her bedroll in a corner of Cabin 11. It's not home-- it's not comfortable like the Iwatodai dorms were, or even tolerable like her parents'-- no, they weren't her parents, were they? They'd never been her real parents. Really, that was something of a relief-- but also a mixed feeling of sadness and hurt. She'd never been enough for them.
But that didn't matter anymore. She'd just have to make herself enough for the true parent she had.]
I... I should say hello, I think. My name is Fuuka Yamagishi, and I'll be in your care-- well, we'll all be in one another's care-- [She flushes, a little awkwardly. When she resumes, her voice is small again.] Anyway, I'm... glad to be here. In a way. And I'll do my best to be of help, so...
[She drops her head again, bowing a bit formally.]
It's a pleasure. Please take good care of me.

[Oh, hell. He didn't expect to see her here too. Was the rest of SEES going to show up as well?
Akihiko shakes off his frown and refocuses on his teammate.]
Did you just get here? Are you okay?
no subject
Akihiko-senpai? Yes, I just got here. I'm fine-- I'm okay, I just--
You're here too? [That she's not alone among strangers is basically exactly what she needed to know; she looks breathless with relief.]
no subject
Yeah... and a couple others too.
[But before he tells her who-]
This is gonna sound weird, but can you tell me who our leader is?
no subject
It was Minako-chan, of course. She'd been the leader since before I met you. Why? Is something strange going on?
[Is Akihiko-senpai Panicked?]
...Who else is here?
no subject
Okay... Good. So you do remember her. [Brief pause. There are a couple more names he needs to ask her about.] What about Ryoji Mochizuki? And Minato Arisato?
...I'll tell you in a bit. [After he makes this short assessment.]

Minato smiles a tiny smile. He knows Aki doesn't remember him, but he has no idea what's going on with Fuuka. He honestly has no idea what's going on generally because seriously, he might look a little feminine, but he was no girl. And he is like 85% sure he was in charge of SEES for the last year so his head's a little... messed rn? This is all piling on top of "good morning, i'm not dead. just son of hades." His afterlife's a mess.
Doesn't matter, not important. Fuuka's important, right here, right now. So that tiny, reassuring smile prevails.]
You'll be all right. Don't worry. [It might not be the best response he can give but there's a few options here that stop him from going all out social link addict, here. She might not know him. She might know he's dead, unlike Dead-senpai. She might do or know all sorts of things. This is a lot of pressure!
But, the people here are good, if some are a little... pushy or abrasive. Fuuka doesn't need to worry about them, and he can at least reassure her about that, right?]
no subject
I hope so. So far, everyone's been... [Well, not necessarily kind; the staff she's met were a mixed bag. But her fellow campers hadn't been cruel, and really that was a victory.] They've been good to me.
Ah, but I should thank you. It's really nice of you to reassure me. [Please try to not be too upset about the expression of blank non-recognition, Minato. She's still glad to meet you, no matter which parallel universe she's coming from.]
no subject
Ow.
Okay he was prepared for this. His smile pretty much fades as soon as it becomes clear Fuuka doesn't know him. But he was prepared for this. Akihiko doens't know him, either, after all. And it might be kind of common place.
Which makes his reassurance sort of awkward because she doesn't know why he's doing it does she?]
No problem. [We're all strangers here.]
no subject
Ah-- can I ask your name? [She's not really good at introducing herself unprompted, or asking for things, or confrontation of any kind, but she's hoping if she can build a bond like she does with her friends, if she can make a single friend today, it will both make him stop looking so pained and also bode well for the rest of her time in this... camp...
Besides, they may all be strangers here, but there are ways to fix that.]

video;
For someone sociable like Minako...well, she'd manage, sure. But that didn't mean it hadn't developed something of a weight on her shoulders.]
Fuuka-chan! It's good to see you again!
[Hope you won't be bothered by a little bit of grilling, here. Well. Not here. Once she comes and finds you.] Are you getting settled into the cabin ok? Let me come help--
video;
M-Minako-chan! [She takes a moment to school her features, though her eyes are a little suspiciously shiny, and her heart's in her throat.] Akihiko-senpai said you were here. We were talking about going to look for you... I haven't seen you since... since Graduation Day. It has been a while, hasn't it?
[She's already cottoned on to the idea that something funny was going on. Akihiko had grilled her about Minako, and hadn't told her anything about anyone else until she'd confirmed whatever it was he was looking for in her response... It didn't take a genius like Mitsuru-senpai to see there was something going on. So until then, she was being careful not to say too much. Akihiko-senpai hadn't been reacting the way she might have imagine to the idea of Minako being back. Maybe somehow he'd forgotten that afternoon...?]
video;
Shock was definitely one of the reactions she'd imagined, but it paled in comparison to actually seeing it on Fuuka's face. The girl's tiny chest rose, her soft eyes widened to saucers, and her soft jaw went slack for a wordless moment.
There was so much Minako could say, but she knew she had to wait and let Fuuka come to her own. Without interrupting, without starting the conversation...Minako'd gone days without speaking, what was another minute or two?]
It feels like it's been ages. Did you make it here okay?
video;
The SEES crowd, once they all remembered, were changed, the weight of their struggles etched in their faces. Fuuka couldn't see it in hers, but she saw it in everyone else's. They'd sacrificed so much, lost so much, for a world that couldn't even acknowledge that loss. There'd been a long time where the days post-graduation felt like sleepwalking, a constant memory of the lost and the changed dynamics between them all. Akihiko-senpai and Mitsuru-senpai had moved out-- they couldn't very well live in the dorm after graduating from Gekkoukan. And though Junpei, Yukari, and herself had all remained close-- even ending up in the same class, which was a bright spot in those dark days--, there was an obviously missing link between the three of them.
And here she was.]
I-- yes, I'm fine. Are you-- [No, she needs to word that thought differently.]
Did you-- [Not... quite...]
You're alright too... right?
video;
She's fine. She's alright.]
Of course I am! A bit hungry, but I'm definitely alright!
[In fact, she was really hungry...though why the sight of Fuuka would stir her appetite makes her question if something isn't a little off.]
Even better, now that you're here!

I hope it's all right if I action?
So Fuuka-chan's here too. Almost the whole group is together again... Good to see you.
[He's kind of hoping that she remembers, and kind of hoping she doesn't. It may be easier to wave off these wings if she doesn't.]
oh you know it bb ;)
R-Ryoji-kun? [The shock is evident, and yet there's a mixed feeling in there. She knows, after the battle with Nyx Avatar, that she should feel more concerned than relieved... but the memory of that night, when Ryoji had told them how they could possibly fight Nyx... She hadn't had the interactions with him that Minako-chan and Junpei-kun had, but she'd been upset by his disappearance all the same. He was a nice boy-- a little flirtatious, but not in the creepy way like Junpei could get, which was much appreciated-- and whether or not he was actually human, she couldn't think of anyone in the dorm, Aigis excluded, who disliked him. Just like everyone else, they'd all lost a friend that night.
And then, she guessed, found him today. How were the others handling it? How did Minako handle it?]
You're... alive!
[Yes, today was going to be a little emotionally turbulent, it seemed.]
and then I was forever late
His smile does fade slightly, to hear that she does remember him, and appears to know what had happened back then. It's good, in a sense... he doesn't have to try to piece together a friendship-or whatever one would call his relationship with SEES-that doesn't exist for her. Still, knowing that she had seen him like that, and was probably pondering whether or not he was dangerous or not, was a little disheartening.]
So you do remember everything... I'm glad you're alright.
[He gives a small shrug.]
And yes, I'm alive again. Don't ask me how, exactly, but I'm here and I'm human. I think it has something to do with Hades, and something about what I was originally, before Tatsumi Port Island...
Anyways, it doesn't matter. How are you?
that's okay DW NEVER SENT ME THIS NOTIF
But Fuuka is not Fuuka if she doesn't take a moment to weigh the situation, consider the possibilities. She just takes her time coming to a conclusion, that's all... but he wouldn't know that. The majority of the people he got to know were Junpei and Minako, after all.]
I'm... Well, I'm alright. Confused, a little. But that's probably the usual reaction to coming here, right?
And I'm... I'm glad to see you're okay. [Though she's quick to add, lest Ol' Flirtatious Ryoji decide to make an appearance:] You, and Akihiko-senpai and Aragaki-senpai, and Minako-chan.
WE ARE BOTH FOREVER LATE
He nods slightly.]
Yes, everyone was pretty confused when they first arrived. I came with a big group of people, but that didn't make it any easier.
[Luckily for her, his playboy ways stay covered just a while longer, as he smiles warmly.]
I'm glad you're okay too.
FOREVER AND ALWAYS.
no subject
[Yeah that's all he's got right now. He's not the welcoming comitee here.]
no subject
I guess... there's a few of us, isn't there? It's almost like before...
[And then, because she can't help it:] You're... alright, then?
no subject
Looks like we're all winding up here for some reason.
no subject
[And then, embarrassed:] I'm sorry. That's too many questions, isn't it? I just... I miss Juno. I'd at least have an idea of what's going on around us, if she were with me.

We've got powers. Inherited from whatever god or goddess we're related to, I guess.
