[Worick has been around long enough to make note of people making broadcasts via their-actually quite stylish-necklaces. The first time had been a surprise, but by the third time he witnessed it, he caught on and paid special attention to how the necklace worked. He wouldn't want everyone's first impression of him to be of one who is technologically impaired.

So once he's certain he knows the ins and outs of the necklace's capabilities, he'll make a little broadcast of his own. The visual given is of a man with long hair and an eye patch. He has a particularly large smile on his face for someone who has just been abducted by Gods.]

If I didn't know better I'd think this is all just a very vivid hallucination fueled by intense amounts of alcohol. Which is strange because I know for a fact that I didn't get to drink a drop last night. I'm also pretty use not even my subconscious mind would come up with something as hideous as this camp uniform. [A hint of orange comes and goes from view at Worick plucks petulantly at his shirt.]

Is there a handbook or something for new comers like me? I can't say I really know this camp thing is supposed to work. Names Worick by the way. It's nice to meet you all.

[After the broadcast Worick can be found standing outside Cabin Hermes. If he had any cigarettes he would definitely be having a smoke. But seeing as he doesn't he's making himself content with people watching. If his eye happens to linger a moment or two on men with dark hair and ladies with dark skin, well...one can hope his isn't the only familiar face hanging around.]

[The sound of a familiar voice draws his attention back to his necklace. He blinks at the image it provides as if he's making sure it's real. Then his grin is back as if it never left, possibly even wider now.]

Al? [His mind suddenly brings to his attention the fact that Alex had been in trouble last time they'd spoken.] Are you alright?

[ in due time, her shock gives way to relief, the feeling so immense she nearly cries from it. it's only been a few days since her own arrival here, but somehow just the sight and knowledge of worick's safety shakes her, unloads a weight that had been put on her shoulders upon realizing the man hadn't been here when nic was.

she laughs, shakily, and if there are any tears in her eyes, it's only because she's so happy to see him. ]

I'm — fine... I was so worried...

[He notices those tears and deems them unacceptable. Even if they are happy tears.]

Dry your eyes, Al. Or you might make me cry. [His tone is quite soothing despite the fact that he's clearly making fun of her.]

You were worried about me?

[ she huffs at him a little, cheeks puffing in protest of his teasing. despite the big part of her that's so happy to see him, she actually misses it. ]

They said we were stuck here, I didn't know if I'd ever see you again—!

Well, they'll have to do better than alternate universes to keep me away.

Where are you now? You should come show me around.

Ah — I'm by Cabin 7... [ she starts glancing around for him, as if half-expecting him to turn up around the corner. ]

Are you in the Hermes Cabin? I can come get you..!

[He glances at the cabin he's leaning against.]

Yeah, that's the one. At least that's what they told me. See you soon, Al.

[ she doesn't even bother to respond just yet. instead she's releasing the pendant and rushing towards the other building, one that she'd been making an effort to avoid for the past few days, but now she wishes she'd never left, just so she'd been there when worick arrived.

she finds him just outside, and she has to stop a few feet before him, breathing hard, just... looking at him. it really is him, isn't it? they really are all there... together.... ]

[He manages to spot her as soon as she comes into view and watches her approach with a small smile. His eye scans her form carefully, looking for any signs of rough treatment. She'd been trapped at Bastard with the tag hunter last he'd heard from her. But you wouldn't know it by the looks of her.

When she stops a few feet away he straightens up and steps away from the cabin. His arms open like he's waiting for a hug.]

[ she hesitates — but only for a moment. in truth, she'd been worried. it had only been a few days, but she had no way of knowing what worick would get up to in the absence of both nic and herself, and she hadn't known if he would have taken it.. all that well...

to see him now, as he is, smiling and looking just like she had remembered him. her relief is so immense, she doesn't even bother to second-guess her hesitation, and there she goes bridging the distance between them to press her form against his in a tight hug.

she'll ask all her questions after. for now, she's just going to be glad he's here and safe. ]

[His arms close around her tightly, but not so tight as to be uncomfortable. He wouldn't have left her at Bastard if he didn't trust Galahad and Marco to keep her safe. But he would be lying if he didn't admit to himself that he had been worried.

This might not be the reunion he'd had in mind, but he'll take it in exchange for her being alright.]

[ it's nice, she decides, being held like this. despite the reassurance that nic's presence provided, it's a relief to have someone around like worick again, who never hesitates to offer his comfort where he can.

realizing, though, that she's verging on being greedy, she sheepishly untangles from him. ]

Are you okay?

[Worick lets her go easily with a parting pat on her head. He makes a show of considering her question before shrugging.]

This isn't even the worst situation I've ever found myself in. Don't worry about me.

[ she puffs her cheeks a little in annoyance, hands forming fists at her sides. ]

This isn't Ergastulum. It's nothing like any of us have experienced before. Please don't be reckless.

[Her annoyance does nothing but amuse him.]

Reckless? Me? I think you have me confused with a certain black haired shrimp with a sword. I heard he's already gotten some action with those monsters.

[ she gives him a stern look. ]

You both—

[ but who is she kidding, like they'd ever really listen to her anyway. ]

Just try not to follow his footsteps...

[He's struggling not to laugh.]

You...think he's a bad influence on me?

[ no she thinks you both can enable the bad in each other just as much as the good. you just don't often do the latter. ]

Don't laugh...!

[Sadly her expression just makes him shake harder with suppressed laughter.]

You...don't have to worry. Really.

...I'll be careful. Okay?

[ she's this close to just turning around and wondering why she even tried, worick. THIS close. ]

Have you seen Nicolas yet?

[He finally manages to pull himself together and nods.]

Yeah, he came by to see me. Says he's been here for a month but I don't know how to wrap my head around that.

[ she nods, looking a little uneasy about that, too. ]

An entire month, but it only sounds like a few weeks that he's missed back home...

Yeah...[He frowns and glances away/]

What I'm more concerned about is who was with us while he was here?

—you think it might have been an imposter?!

[Slowly...he shakes his head.]

Not really sure what to think. [It would have to be more than your run of the mill impostor for Worick not to notice anything was up.]

Heh...don't worry about it. I'm probably just being paranoid.
