1st Contract | [video]
I'm currently aware of some of the...things going around here, though I'm afraid I still require far more information, given what is going on.
[One might notice Hei's gaze trail off towards something else. Clearly he was looking at some of the erm, stranger folk. The hint of unease was all too clear. Especially with the angry tone in his voice. Clearly this was the worst time to mess with him.]
To sum things up, I want to know the full story from everyone here. Now.

Re: [Video]
Then when would I meet these so-called "gods?"
[Phibrizzo is pretty sure that if this guy is so eager to meet the gods that he must not have been claimed yet. Or if he was, must not be a child of the Big Three.]
We're actually going for the summer solstice. On the 21st.

It's exactly what Chiron said. [Demigods. Training camp. The important stuff.]

[It was always kids that ticked him off the most. Least he wasn't drinking.]

I would rather you not use that word.

[He's unfazed by the glare.]
no subject
[That word though was nothing more than a lie here to him.]

If we knew the full story ourselves, we’d have no reason to hide it from you. Chiron can answer some questions, but I’m pretty sure the gods are the ones that have all the answers.
What’s the highest priority for you to know?

We’re not allowed to leave. If you try to breach the boundaries of the camp, you’ll be attacked and killed by the monsters in the forest. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The gods are the same figures as the ones detailed in Greek mythology. Supposedly, we are related to them. Once you figure out which one you’re claimed by, you can start honing your new abilities.
As for current events, we’ll be going on a trip to New York City in a couple of days. There’s a set of rules we’re expected to follow for that too.
[He tilts his head a bit at the newcomer, gray eyes steadily holding his gaze.] Anything else?
no subject
A few more. When will we meet them to gain these abilities? What happened to all equipment when coming here? And what do you mean we are going to New York? Wouldn't a place like this want to avoid as much public attention as possible?
no subject
That’s fine. Fire away. [Akihiko shakes his head.] To my knowledge, no one’s met them directly before. We’re not even sure where they are. The claiming’s different for everyone. Sometimes, it happens right away. Other times, you have to wait a while.
[He scowls at the mention of equipment.] Our weapons were confiscated before we came here. But there’s some equipment lying around the camp, if you wanna use ‘em for the time being.
Yeah, I don’t really get that part myself… [He sighs a little.] I mean, we have to go wearing the damn shirts… That’s gonna exclude us right from the start. Apparently, the gods think that going to the city would be an educational experience for us. [He shrugs.] Maybe this is their way of telling us we need to study more.
no subject
Study what exactly? What point would it serve to go to what I assume is supposed to be the real world as a learning experience?
no subject
They haven’t given us very many objectives in general. So this might be something we’ll have to figure out on our own. If you’ve never visited New York City before, now’s your chance to take a look around and explore some place new.

As for the rest of it? We don't know. What we do know is that we're going up to Olympus on the solstice, because the gods want to talk to us. I get the fun time of meeting my dad, Ares, after he claimed me after I challenged him to a fight. Isn't that great?
Also, by the way, dummy, we're all special, because we're here. You're not any more special or any more entitled to information just because you got all high and mighty about it.
no subject
[He was seriously in the worst mood for his buttons to be pushed.]
it's not just him; she does this to everyone canonically, so sorry
Also, I'm not just some child. I'm Airi Ban, daughter of Ares. I fought demons and gods back home, before I came here, and I'm not the only one in this camp who saw battle before I arrived. And you know what? Once the shock of it all wore off?
I actually like that - I'm finally meeting other people who have been through the same stuff I have. I'm meeting people who understand it.
You're a freaking idiot for just dismissing us all, and demanding stuff like you are so much better than we are, or like you're Zeus himself. You're not.
so many slaps he wants to give already XD
[Though her babbling did manage to give some insight. Insults or not, she was spilling much info to help back up the ludicrousness of the situation, if nothing else.]

- We've been dragged here from our respective alternate worlds to be here. And I know they're alternate, because apparently in this world America has been its own country since the 1770s and in mine it's still a colony in 1851. Also the moon is apparently not inhabited here.
- We are told we're the children of the Greek gods. To the extent that this place is full of creatures from Greek myths and we ourselves seem to have strange powers we didn't before, I'm inclined to believe it.
I can understand a certain amount of disbelief. I was taught that the gods of the Greeks were pagan idols. But seeing as the evidence in support of it is rather overwhelming, I'm inclined to believe it.
I don't know, perhaps it's easier when I'm suddenly a different species and was brought to camp on a vehicle that hasn't been invented yet in my universe.
[This is a little sharper than Ssil usually is with new arrivals, but he's being awfully demanding.]

[In a sense, as stupid as that was, giving powers to possible threats wasn't a wise idea either, even if Hei assumed the gods could wipe the floor with them if they are powerful as he thought they were.]
Are there even clues as to where they could have vanished to?
no subject
If they had the means and opportunity to solve the problem themselves and it was enough of a concern that we were called in otherwise, I would think they would have tried. Apparently bringing us here was... controversial.

[Given her own reaction, she's not sure she wants to test his to learning that a good quarter of their number stands a chance of being killed just for existing.]
no subject
[He would have asked more, but if things were like in the myths of Greek Gods, he didn't need to put that much thought into it. He knew the standard myth had some gods more powerful than others, so those children might be affected.]
no subject
My name is Ssilissa, by the way. We seem to have skipped that step. And I may as well tell you that the loner act won't work well when you're trapped here just as much as the rest of us, so don't act as if there's no point to introducing yourself. [She's still a bit rattled from arguing with Tybalt.]
[Yup. She's way too chipper in contrast to Hei's current disposition, but that doesn't seem to bother her much.]

Were you not given an explanation when you arrived...?
