I'm kind of freaking out here.

So I've been having weird dreams lately about mechanics and plans and all of this. Today I found myself working on the heating coil of our stove in my Cabin and turned it into a Air Conditioner. I don't know how I did that, how it happened and certainly had no idea how I was able to cook something on a broken stove as well... that I fixed.

And to boot I've been coming up with plans, ideas. I've been trying to write them down and I can't, like they're THERE but I can't get it OUT OF MY HEAD.

I'm trying to go for a walk and clear my head but I keep looking at things and going "You know, that could be turned into a steam-powered ballista"--NO BAD AKANE!

Yeah it's quite a long time ago from my point of view.

Sure seems like't, huh.

It's pretty interestin', that people're brought from different times an' worlds.

It really is yeah. There's a lot of people from all sorts of places.

Though I don't like this idea of us not havin' the families we had back home, I do like the idea of gettin' to know a lotta things about other worlds an' times. [ His grin is way too wide and curious. ] Kid'll be jealous. [ No he won't. ]

Mmmm, you have a point. I'm still getting used to having a god for a dad.

I had ta get used to the part about there bein' many gods overall. My parents were mormons, an' pops didn't really want anythin' to do with me after I ended up on the Trail. So I guess non-present parents ain't any different.

My parents are Shinto but we're not exactly religious by any means. So it's new for me.

Shinto? That a religion?

Yes, it's Japanese.

Really? So are samurai also Shinto... believers...?

Depends on the family I'd think. There's a few major religions in Japan right now. Shinto, Christianity, Catholism, Buddhism...

So, religions all spread and get more acceptable? What about three hund---four hundred years ago?

Back then it was more buddhism and shinto, and probably some other form of religion.

Huh, I see. I know some 'bout buddhism, but not Shinto.

Yeah I'm not really religious so I can't really talk about it much.

My parents're more religious than I'll ever be.

Ah, makes sense then.

Yeah, but then again, I ain't seen'em for many years now, so I ain't able t'comment on my siblings' religious feelin's.
