[Ami was perfectly content to hole herself up in Cabin 6 for the majority of any orienting goings-on around camp. In addition to being one of the lucky that were claimed from the get-go, her cabin seemed to suit her tastes rather perfectly. Blue, white, and gold motif, still quiet and cozy (unlike Cabin 11...), and best of all, a giant wall stuffed to the gills with ancient tomes she'd never imagined she'd get her hands on!
The blue-haired girl is curled up against the wall of books, a modest stack of literature already piled up beside her hip and her face well-hidden behind a worn hard-cover book with a non-descript cover.]
...I wonder if this is the only library in the camp.
[She pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose, holding the charm of her necklace in the palm of her hand. It was easier to speak when it appeared unintentional, without the pretense of putting on some sort of show or announcement.]
It would be a shame for only those in Cabin 6 to have such ready access to these, though I suppose as long as it's within curfew, others can come take a look? Maybe share a bit of reading space?
[She lowers her book, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.] Greetings. My name is Ami Mizuno, sixteen years old. [Seventeen in September, if the same time-keeping dynamics are used here.
Add that to the list of things she needs to look into...] I was claimed by Athena shortly upon my arrival. I look forward to working with all of you. If I may be of any assistance, please, I am at your disposal.
